MUDr. Milan Kučera
After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno, he began his professional career as a doctor at the Orthopaedic and Traumatology Department of Orlová Hospital. After five years in Orlová, he decided to move to England in order to broaden his experience and skills. Since 2014 he has been working at Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate, Kent. He has worked successively as Clinical Fellow, Specialty Doctor and Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon.
He qualified in Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Trauma in 2016.
He supplemented his skills and knowledge by attending not only Czech but also many international conferences and courses in England, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Austria. He focuses mainly on diseases and traumas of the hand, knee and shoulder joints. He has completed an educational curriculum in musculoskeletal sonography and makes extensive use of the ultrasound machine in the diagnostic and therapeutic process.
